Or would it be a thought-provoking drama that tackled important social issues? I soon found out that this movie was both, and so much more.
Fire Down Below tells the story of Jack Taggart, played brilliantly by Steven Seagal. Taggart is a fearless Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) agent who is sent to investigate illegal toxic waste dumping in a small Kentucky town. Along the way, he meets some truly memorable characters, including the tough-as-nails local sheriff, played by Harry Dean Stanton, and the beautiful and enigmatic Sarah Kellogg, played by Marg Helgenberger.
The plot of Fire Down Below may seem straightforward at first glance, but it soon becomes clear that there are many layers to this story.
